Scam calls and messages

Please be aware of scam calls and messages

We are aware of a recent scam where individuals are pretending to represent our organisation.

What's happening

  • Phone calls from unknown numbers claiming to be from us.
  • Requests for personal information or partial information over several calls, such as:
    • Account numbers
    • Passwords
    • Security answers or,
    • Other personal details.

Scammers may say this is for security checks or claim the matter is urgent. These calls and messages are not from us.

We will never pressure you to act quickly or say your account is at risk if you refuse to share information.

How to protect yourself

  • Your security is important to us, and we want to help you stay safe from scams.
  • Do not share personal information unless you are certain you are speaking to us through an official channel
  • Hang up immediately if something feels wrong. You can always call us back using the number on our official website, or from the number on your statement.
  • Report anything suspicious so we can investigate and help protect you and others

Remember

If you receive a call or message and are unsure if it’s genuine, do not respond. Instead, contact our customer service team using the details on our official website, or from the number on your statement.

We would always prefer you check with us than risk sharing your information with a scammer.
