How far can an electric car go?
Many people worry about how far an electric car can go on one charge and whether this will suit their driving habits, this is known as 'range anxiety'.
As electric cars become more commonplace and the advancements in battery size and storage improve this is becoming less of a worry for some. You can currently expect between 100 and 300 miles of range from a fully charged electric car, depending on the model.
The Volkswagen ID.3 range depends on the model and size of battery for example, an ID.3 Pro with a 58kWh battery can travel up to 263 miles, while the ID.3 Pro S 77kWh model boasts a range of 336 miles.
